Terminating A Distribution Agreement

A distribution agreement is a contractual agreement where by which a manufacturer or supplier allows an external party to sell/market its products to consumers in a given geographical area. We see the results of daily sales contracts with branded products sold on any number of sites, although the manufacturer or supplier has a small centralized factory. The products distributed can range from high-tech electronics to high-end merchandise to simple household products. The distribution contract itself serves as a “behind-the-scenes” agreement between the supplier and the distributor, who then enter into contracts with retail establishments or organisations dealing with the general public.
